We’ve all made big life decisions. But, not all of us can say that that big decision was moving half-way across the country. Seven years ago, Steve pulled up his Pacific Northwestern roots and moved from Washington state to Indianapolis, IN. Little did he know that he’d meet the love of his life, right in the heart of the midwest. Meet Reannon. She’s easygoing, has a contagious smile, and there’s something about her personality that invites authenticity and companionship, which we think is pretty cool. Spending just a few minutes around Reannon gave us a snapshot of what drew Steve to her in the beginning of their relationship. You go, girl!
We felt blessed to come alongside this couple to film their wedding day. We started our morning with Reannon and her gals at the amazing Aveda Frederic’s Institute up north in Castleton, then around lunchtime popped downtown to the JW Marriott, where Steve and his guys were getting ready. It was the perfect stop on our way to the Indy Zoo, because the towering JW looked out over the gardens and river house at the zoo, where Reannon & Steve’s ceremony and reception were held. It was the perfect time of year for an outside wedding and were happy for these two that the day was just gorgeous.
Did we mention yet that there was an elephant that made a guest appearance during the festivities?! Yep, an elephant. We heard a rumor that this big guy shows up in their Feature Film. But more on that later…
